The application period for the 2026/2027 academic year will take place from May 4, 2026, to mid-September 2026. It will be divided into four separate rounds. ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY

Wroclaw Medical University offers studies in 12 fields of study in Polish and 3 in English. For postgraduate students, we offer Doctoral School. We aim to provide our students with the best possible learning and development conditions. The modern premises of the Scientific Medical Information centre are bustling with activity. Candidates for doctors, nurses, midwifes and paramedics master their practical skills at the University Teaching Hospital. Dentistry students use professionally equipped dental offices of the Academic Dental Polyclinic at Krakowska street.

DORMS

Wroclaw Medical University has two dorm buildings: „Jubilatka” and „Blizniak”, both located about 10 minutes from the main campus. You can find the application forms in the IRK system.

Back in high school I had to quit sailing competitions at Olympic level and thought I could never go back. I was pleasantly surprised – thanks to WMU, I could compete in national championship.

SPORTS SECTION

In addition to studies and social activities, sport is an important part of our students’ lives. Many of our students participate in national and international competitions with great success: for example, Agata Forkasiewicz (athletics), Dariusz Boratyński (long-distance running), or Iwo Jarosz (brazilian jiu-jitsu). Other than supporting our athletes, we also provide opportunities for more casual sporting activities for all students.

ENGLISH DIVISION

Our English Division offers the opportunity to study Medicine, Dentistry and Nursing. Every year, we admit more than 150 English-speaking students from all around the world. The studies are very popular amongst students from Germany, Norway, and the UK, but there are also many students from India, Myanmar, Canada, Taiwan, and others.
